About the event

Sem’Act women’s unspoken pains will be an occasion for national international and Caribbean actors to assess gynecological pathologies and to share knowledge. Given the prevalence of some pathology among afro-descendant populations (50% of black women develop uterine fibroids. It is 20% more than Caucasian ones) and the high presence of aggravating factors such as obesity and diabetes, it seemed necessary to also have a Caribbean approach.  Sharing clinical data, developing a concerted action to care for the patient, discussing the progress of researches, will be part of the many topics addressed during this seminar.
